Making an Appointment
General Information for Private Referrals
Patients from the UK are asked to bring with them a letter of referral from their General Practitioner on their first appointment. If there is no time to collect this beforehand my secretary will arrange the appointment and I will send details of my findings to your GP. If you have Private Health Insurance please ensure you have approval from your insurers and bring all your policy details along with you.
On your first visit I may organise some tests so that you may be at the Clinic for some time.
When you attend it is helpful if you bring with you all tablets or medicines (except insulin) that you are taking. If this is not possible a copy of your most recent prescription is very helpful.
Parking is often a concern for patients. There are two bays for the disabled immediately outside The Wood Street Clinic. On-street pay and display parking is available very close by.
At The Wellington Hospital Platinum Medical Centre if you arrive by car at the front door staff will park your car for you. There is also a shuttle car service between the Platinum Medical Centre and the Wellington North and South buildings.
